The most interesting roles appear where nothing is mapped out yet.

This one begins with a DiGA.

Perhaps you are a brand manager or product manager in pharma who enjoys breaking new ground. Digital applications appeal to you: you have already touched the DiGA topic, and now you want to leave your mark there and let something grow. Without losing touch with the pharmaceutical industry and the classic medicines business. That interplay is exactly what you find here.

Or you come from the DiGA world. You developed digital therapeutics at a manufacturer, or brought a DiGA into the directory as a partner of a pharmaceutical company. You know the fast-track procedure, evidence generation and the path to prescription first-hand. What you lack is the commercial stage: an established specialist physician sales force, a company that takes the launch seriously, and the responsibility for it.

In both cases:

You have owned launches before. But have you ever introduced a new category to the market?

Whether this fits your situation is best discussed confidentially.

The Mandate

One DiGA. Designed as a beginning.

For a mid-sized, family-owned pharmaceutical company in Berlin we are filling the position where all threads of the DiGA launch come together: Marketing Manager DiGA (m/f/d). The company is established in products marketed through specialist physicians. Now it is bringing its first digital health application to market.

You are the architect of this launch. At your side: a medical expert from the therapeutic field, working with you in close tandem. Marketing and Medical, commercial logic and evidence, from a single mold.

The ambition is deliberately bigger than a single product. If the launch succeeds, further digital applications will follow, and ideally the first product grows into a dedicated business unit.

Why now

DiGA are no longer a bet. They are part of standard care.

In 2020, Germany became the first country worldwide to bring digital therapeutics into statutory standard care. Five years later, the experiment has become infrastructure. And with performance-based reimbursement, commercial success now depends on exactly what defines this position: an understanding of evidence.

Two backgrounds, one profile.

Frequently asked questions

Which profiles fit this position?

Two paths lead here: brand managers or product managers from the pharmaceutical industry who have worked with DiGA and want to grow in this field. Or people from the DiGA industry who developed digital health applications at a manufacturer or as a partner of pharmaceutical companies and now want to own a launch in a responsible role.

Which indication does the DiGA address?

The DiGA is in the field of women's health. More important than the indication is the route: the company's products are marketed through specialist physicians, and the DiGA is prescribed by doctors. Whether your touchpoints come from gynecology and women's health, dermatology, endocrinology, urology and men's health, allergology or another specialist environment: experience in the specific indication is not a requirement.

How flexible is the working model?

Up to 50 percent of working time is flexible, so career and private life stay in balance. Presence in Berlin is part of the role: a launch is built in direct exchange with Medical, sales and management. If you are looking for a fully remote position, this role is not for you.

Do I need to speak German?

Yes. The DiGA is launched in the German healthcare market, and communication with physicians and patients happens in German. Very good German and confident English are required.
